Fit First

Size Guide

We carry a variety of suit brands — each with its own cut and fit. The best way to find your size is to come try them on at our studio.

Our Recommendation

Come Try Before You Buy

Our suits are mostly slim fit, but every brand cuts a little differently in the shoulders, chest, and waist. Sizing charts can only get you so far — trying the suit on is always the surest way to find the right fit.

About Our Brands

Suit Archive stocks a curated selection of suit brands. While most follow a modern slim fit silhouette, each brand has its own interpretation — some run slimmer through the chest, others have a slightly longer jacket or a higher trouser rise.

This is why we strongly encourage coming into our studio. Our team will help you compare brands side by side and find the one that suits your body type and style best.

Know Your Measurements

Use these as a starting point when browsing online. Always verify in person.

01 — Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Keep it level and snug.

02 — Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, just above the belly button. Relaxed, not sucked in.

03 — Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, about 8 inches below your waist. This determines your trouser fit.

General Fit Tips

  • Most of our brands are slim fit. If you carry more width in the chest or shoulders, sizing up may give a more comfortable fit.
  • The jacket shoulder seam is the hardest thing to alter — if it fits in the shoulders, the rest can be adjusted by a tailor.
  • Trouser length and sleeve length are easy alterations, available at any local tailor for under $20.
  • When ordering online without trying first, use chest measurement as your primary guide and size up if in doubt.
  • Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp with your measurements and we'll give you our best recommendation.
