How a Suit Fitting Works
A suit fitting at Suit Archive is simple: book, try on several brands side by side, choose the one that fits, and take it home the same day. Here is exactly what happens.
- 1
Book an appointment
Pick a time with our online booking link or WhatsApp us. Studio visits are Monday to Friday, 11am to 11pm, by appointment only.
- 2
Tell us what you need
Share the occasion and the colours you like. We choose suits across brands for you to compare side by side.
- 3
Try on and compare
Try different sizes and cuts. We check the shoulders first, then the chest, sleeves and trouser length.
- 4
Choose and pay in person
Pick the one that fits best. A complete 3-piece suit is $178. We accept PayNow, bank transfer and major credit cards.
- 5
Take it home the same day
If the suit fits, you leave with it. For small adjustments like a trouser hem, a local tailor can help and we can recommend one.
What to check as you try on
- -Shoulder seam sits at the edge of your shoulder.
- -Jacket closes without pulling across the chest.
- -Trousers sit comfortably when you sit and walk.
- -You can raise your arms without the jacket riding up.

The fitting in detail
A fitting at Suit Archive is designed to answer one question: which of these suits fits you best? Because brands cut differently, the same size number can feel very different from one suit to the next. Trying them side by side is the only reliable way to know.
How we check each fit point
We go through the same points for every suit.
| Point | What we look for | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Shoulders | The seam sits at the edge of your shoulder | The hardest part to alter |
| Chest | The jacket closes without pulling | Comfort and a clean line |
| Sleeves | They end near the wrist bone | Shows a little shirt cuff |
| Collar | Lies flat against your shirt collar | No gap at the back of the neck |
| Waist and seat | Comfortable, no pulling | Everyday comfort |
| Trouser length | Hem skims the top of the shoe | A simple tailoring fix if needed |
What happens after you choose
Once you have chosen, you pay in person using PayNow, bank transfer or a major credit card, and take your suit home. If you want a trouser hem or shorter sleeves, a local tailor can do it; we do not alter in-house, but we can recommend one.
Fittings for groups
Groomsmen, wedding parties and corporate teams can be fitted in one visit. Tell us the group size and the date when you book. Each complete 3-piece suit is a flat $178, so group costs are simply the number of suits times $178.
How to get the most from your fitting
Prepare a little and the fitting will be faster and better.

- 2.Bring your shirt and shoes.
- 3.Try at least two sizes and two cuts.
- 4.Sit, reach and walk in each suit.
- 5.Take a photo in the mirror to compare later.
- 6.Choose the one that you forget you are wearing.
